I've eaten more salt🧂than you've eaten rice🍚😨?



Everyone has heard a lot of the phrase "I've eaten more salt than you've eaten rice" from your grandparents👴🏻🧓🏻, but do you know how too much salt could do to your cardiovascular health❓

 

In fact, consuming too much salt would lead to an imbalance of sodium and water in our body💧, which increases the burden on the heart and blood vessels😥, leading to hypertension eventually📈. Also, a high sodium diet🧂and hypertension🩸are both associated with the risk of suffering from stroke in the next ten years. Therefore, if you want to avoid stroke attacks, please be aware of your salt intake‼️
