🎥Basic Understanding on Stroke, Related Treatment and Rehabilitation Videos | Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society

We would like to thank the editor of “A-Z Guide for Carers of Cancer Patients”, published by Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society, Miss Janet Wong Wing Chen, for inviting our Director @ HKU Stroke, Professor Gary Lau Kui Kai to co-create three episodes about stroke. In these videos, Professor Lau shared some fundamental knowledge of stroke, e.g. types of stroke, symptoms, treatments, and possible prognostic symptoms. Additionally, Professor Lau also talked about how the support and rehabilitation services provided by hospitals and the community, together with the aid of therapists, could enhance patients’ recovery all-round, including motor and swallowing ability. All these would facilitate stroke patients to re-integrate into the community.
