10th Golden Age Expo and Summit 2025 x HKU Stroke | 31st July (Thurs) to 2nd August (Sat)

We are honored to be invited by the Golden Age Foundation again to participate in this year’s Golden Age Expo and Summit.

The rapid development of technology has brought greater benefits to the elderly and the community in health monitoring. At the same time, HKU Stroke is actively collaborating and researching with various sectors to bring tangible changes to stroke prevention and management through innovative technology, hence seeking the utmost convenience and support for stroke patients and caregivers.

HKU Stroke will be hosting various activities and demonstrating new technology at the booth, allowing the public to gain a better understanding on stroke from different perspectives. The activities include:

✅ free health check (including blood pressure measurement and atrial fibrillation screening)

✅ free stroke risk testing

✅ free health counselling services (including personal health and dietary advice)

✅ SmartRehab mobile app experience area

✅ Interactive games – winners will receive wonderful prizes

✅ Talk on stroke prevention, management and rehabilitation support

Furthermore, the Golden Age Foundation has invited Professor Gary Lau Kui Kai, Director of HKU Stroke and Assistant Dean (Education Innovations) of LKS Faculty of Medicine, HKU to host two talks, one sharing on stroke prevention, management and rehabilitation support on 1^st August; the other one on 2^nd August as a host introducing innovative care support services where Professor Lau will discuss with experts on how the utilization of technology, training and community programs can provide comprehensive support for caregivers, so as to improve their quality of lives. Please join us in this meaningful event!
