We are honoured that our team’s international achievements in innovation were celebrated on 15 July at the Reception for Innovation and Technology Awards organised by Hong Kong’s Innovation and Technology Commission!
This annual momentous occasion demonstrates the government’s dedication to taking our I&T sector to a higher notch, by recognising Hong Kong’s winners of international awards in AI, biotechnology, medical science, green technology, and engineering. In Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee’s address, it was highlighted that the vast range of disciplines of innovations lays the cornerstone of Hong Kong SAR’s standing as an international hub for I&T.
Amongst the award-winning HKU innovators was our ReMobility team, as we garnered a Gold Medal with Congratulations of Jury at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, for an AI-powered app for remote stroke rehabilitation. Professor Gary Lau, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of ReMobility, remarked, “We hope that our innovation can improve the wellbeing of stroke patients and help alleviate the global suffering caused by stroke. We are very honoured that HKSAR Government values our contribution.”
